Vance Elementary has made either high growth or expected growth as measured by the North Carolina ABC standards for the past five consecutive years. While we are proud of that growth, we continuously strive to improve and ensure that we are meeting the educational needs of each and every Vance student. Our teachers participate in weekly Professional Learning Communities during which they work as a team to analyze data and use that data to plan either remediation or enrichment lessons. We provide differentiated learning experiences during our “Panther Time” which is a consistent time scheduled into each instructional day.
